Yam Halle Roland (they/them), a queer & non-binary artist currently residing in Tacoma, WA. My intention is to make work that makes queer/trans/gnc folx feel seen, represented and cherished --consequently subverting the gender binary and undermining heteronormative expectations of the patriarchy. Pursuing this mission has led me on a journey of connection & community more affirming than I could have imagined.
The first time I put on my Trans Figure they/them pronouns tee, I felt like my non-binary ass could take on this very binary centric world. After a little research, I knew I had to partner with Trans Figure in their mission to serve the trans/queer community. I am endlessly grateful to Trans Figure Print Co for helping a queer enby feel affirmed & so warmly welcoming me into the family.
Hey y’all, Emmett here, I started partnering with TransFigure in early 2019 and have been creating awesome imagery with some pretty amazing queers ever since. I love partnering with small brands on Instagram to get them the imagery they need, especially when they’re owned by people in the LGBTQIA+ community. Fashion photography has always been a passion of mine, one day I hope to be shooting top models. When I’m not behind the camera I’m rock climbing or playing video games. Feel free to reach out if you’d like to model for Transfigure sometime! (IG: @drtyglitter)
